Abby Johns was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to springfield to continue her education at both Ozark Technical Community College and Missouri State University. Abby has been dancing for as long as she can remember and teaching gives her the chance to help dancers grow both on and off the floor. Abby grew up at a competitive studio, danced on her high school’s dance team for all throughout highschool and also danced a Missouri States dance team for 1 year as well. Dance has always been an important part of her life and being able to share that with her students is one of her favorite things. When she is teaching, she tries to bring as much energy and encouragement into the room as she can. Abby’s goal as a teacher is to help her students grow in technique, confidence, and creativity while creating a positive environment where they can express themselves and develop a love for dance and new friendships!
