After starting gymnastics at the age of 4, Allison Swearingin began her dance training at the age of 7 in Liberty, Missouri. She has studied various styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, and more, under various professionals in the Kansas City metro area. Allison has taken classes from dance professionals such as Joe Tremaine, Keri LaGrand, Megan Sanett, Laurie Johnson, Tony Bellissimo, Derrick Schrader, Tiffany Maher, Emily Zachary, EJ Staxx, Peter Pinnock, Janelle Ginestra, and many others. She has 11 years of dance and theater experience, including 4 years with her former dance studio’s competitive dance company.

After graduating high school in May of 2020, Allison is pursuing her BS in Psychology and Child & Family Development from Missouri State University. She is hoping to become a child/family counselor after obtaining her Master’s in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in arts therapy. Allison is passionate about working with young dancers and can’t wait to start her first season at Studio 3 Dance Academy!
