Mackenzie Manning was born and raised in Ithaca, NY. Having studied dance for twenty-three years, she has trained under many professionals such as Amber Perkins, Douglas Bentz, Kiesha Lalama, Jason McDole and many more. Mackenzie is a proud alumni of Point Park University, where she received her BA in dance with a concentration in Jazz. She continues to pursue her passion by continuing her professional career to Branson MO. Here, she has worked as a Saloon girl as Miss Tilly, at the wonderful Silver Dollar City. Other credentials in- clude working at Darien Lake in Buffalo, NY as a magician’s assistant, puppeteer, and dance captain for Silvertree Entertainment. She has also worked under the directing and choreography from Michael Rupert and Jim Cooney in the musical Sweet Charity. Mackenzie has had the pleasure of assisting numerous choreographers from a young age continuously at conventions such as Sarah Jo Fazio, Angie Sellers, and Billy Griffin at Dance America. Teaching kids is an excitement for Mackenzie, as she was able to choreograph for one of the top theater programs in Missouri at Nixa High School for the musicals Footloose and The Adams Family. Other choreography credentials include; Beauty and the Beast, Once Upon a Mattress, Little Women, and Legally Blonde. Mackenzie is also the Drury University Dance Team Coach in Springfield, Missouri. She has taught at many different award-winning dance studios such as Perkins School of the Arts in Norwich NY. She is also a 5 time choreography award winner in just the past year at multiple dance competitions. She hopes to continue her passion of dance by spreading her knowledge of various styles including Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, and Tap to young thriving dancers in hopes they fall in love with the art as much as she did.
