Melody Boyens began her dance training at the age of 4 in Kissimmee, Florida and has been fortunate to study dance under the direction of Annette DuBose, Amanda Plesa and Tom Ralabate. She has also trained with Joffrey Ballet San Antonio and the Gold School. She attended and graduated magna cum lade from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Currently Melody is in her first year at Kings Castle Theater in Branson, performing in 3 different shows, Anthems of Rock, Dancing Queen, and New Jersey Nights. She also spent 3 seasons as a dancer/dance captain with Legends in Concert at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater.

She has also danced in parades for Universal Studios Orlando, performed at private events for Walt Disney Entertainment Group, appeared in several dance videos for Viking River Cruises and danced in stage shows for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Along with her theme park work, Melody spent 3 years with Norwegian Cruise Lines as a production cast dancer/dance captain, traveling all over South America, Mexico, Alaska and other exotic places.
